Anyone living in Chicago can tell you that fall is taking its sweet time. While the leaves are changing colors, we still seem to be getting that in between, awkward weather that no one likes. When it’s still too warm to wear the sweaters and boots you purchased at the end of the summer and they’re just sitting in your closet waiting patiently to be worn. I know this time of the year always throws me off because one day it’ll be 60 degrees and the next close to 80. It’s really tough to tell what the weather will do from day to day! With the weather being unreliable from time to time, I’m still pushing wearing my fall clothing any chance I can get. With the mornings and evenings being cooler and our office at work feeling frigid during the day, I’ve already begun indulging in sweater weather. Because Chicago is cooler about 6 months or more out of the year, I like to stock up on as many different styles and colors as I can this time of year. Plus, there’s really nothing I love more than the cozy vibes fall brings!I got this mustard yellow sweater from H&M for less than $40 and it’s for sure my favorite this season. I’ve always loved yellow (and so does Hector!) and it could not be the more perfect shade for this season.I paired it with my H&M high waisted jeans which I’m loving right now and really can’t go back to wearing any other kind of fit! It’s flattering, comfortable, and I can wear them with almost anything.I am looking forward to cooler weather and layering up! Below, I’ve linked other sweaters I’ve been eyeing in some of my favorite shades for fall.
